  Hermione: Oh, well spotted.
• Hermione: Next to last! Fleur couldn't get past "ze grindylows".
• Hermione: It's not going to work.
  Fred: Oh yeah?
  George: And why is that, Granger?
  Hermione: You see this? [pointing at a ring around The Goblet of Fire] This is an Age Line. Dumbledore drew it himself.

  Hermione: So, a genius like Dumbledore couldn't possibly be fooled by a dodge as pathetically dim-witted as an Aging Potion.
  Fred: Ah, but that's why it's so brilliant.
  George: 'Cause it's so pathetically dim-witted.
• Ron: He's using you!
  Hermione: How dare you! Besides, I can take care of myself!
  Ron: Doubt it, he's way too old for you.
  Hermione: What? What, that's what you think?!

  Hermione: Well you know the solution then don't you!
  Ron: Go on.
  Hermione: Next time there's a ball, pluck up the courage and ask me before somebody else does! And not as a last resort!
